With a soft feel and more buttons than your typical experienced ranch horse, Ryder has proven himself to be a great ride for various experience levels. He would be excellent for someone wanting to get into local-level cow sorting, as he has a really nice cut that allows him to break a cow away from the herd and keep up with it.

We’ve ridden Ryder in a variety of bits, and he’s even done well riding bridleless, stopping easily off your seat. On the ground, he’s a complete gentleman, often picking up his next foot before you even get to it. He’s a safe horse who stops and thinks before reacting and moves beautifully off the leg.
